I sometimes forget that the Red Hot Chili Peppers are one of the greatest bands ever to exist, ever.

I have seen them a handful of times live. They still rank in my top 3 bands/artists I have seen live.

I’ve only seen them once - their show at the O2 Arena, in 2011 - but I’m in complete agreement. I’m not sure if they’re at number one or not, but I’d say the same about the rest of my top three.

I would wager that
Blood Sugar Sex Magik
was a better album, possibly one of the greatest rock records ever, certainly in the top 20. It’s rare when a group comes together with such talent and vision. And I could listen to Flea play bass all day long. He’s one of the most melodic bass players I’ve ever heard.

No arguement here.
I am guilty of forgetting they exist sometimes though.
Have a little Beavis and Butthead with your Peppers!

Several of my very, very favourite RHCP songs come from Blood Sugar Sex Magik, but I prefer Stadium Arcadium overall. It’s the first album of theirs that I ever heard, back at the start of my teens.
Flea is absolutely fantastic. I’ll happily listen to him play with no accompaniment whatsoever.

While that is not one of my favorite tracks, I absolutely love this record. Definitely one of the ones I go back to more often than not.
